Why this works

A reading challenge with 12 identical blank slots turns into 12 copies of whatever's easiest. This one is 12 different prompts instead — a memoir in March, something outside your usual genre in June, the book you've been postponing all along saved for December — so each month actually stretches your shelf a little.

Because it's Sequence mode, the strip works through January to December in order. Fill in the actual title once you've picked it, or just check the prompt off when you finish — either way, cut each month's row away as you go and watch the year get visibly shorter.

Common questions

Do I have to read the months in order?

The list is designed as a January-to-December sequence, but you're free to write in your own title for each prompt whenever you find the right book.

Can I change the monthly prompts?

Yes — every prompt is editable. Swap in your own theme for any month before printing.

Do I write the book title on the strip?

You can edit each line to include the title once you've chosen a book, or leave the prompt as-is and track titles separately.

What if I miss a month?

Nothing resets — just come back to that row whenever you're ready, or print a fresh strip to restart.
